It was not always smooth sailing
In my first business in the festival scene, I started with a lot of creativity and dynamic energy. The fast-paced, exciting environment fueled my entrepreneurial spirit. But as the business grew and scaled, the grind set in. For years, I was running at full speed, managing the complexities of a growing company without taking the time to pause, reflect, or align with my true strengths. My business was thriving, but something felt off. It was hard work, but not the kind that fuels you. I was too busy managing day-to-day demands to focus on the bigger picture.
Eventually, my body hit the brakes. That was the wake-up call I needed. Selling my business gave me the time and space to zoom out, reconnect with myself, and understand what truly mattered. Around this time, I also discovered the impact of the talent scan. It showed me the subconscious strengths and blocks I’d been carrying all along but hadn’t fully recognized. Those insights were transformative. They gave me the clarity to realign my life and work. They’ve shaped how I approach both life and coaching since.
